Celebrate Bloom Together.\n\n\nSomething special is blooming. \nFor one evening\, Bloom by Amal Unite & Empower is taking over The LOT on Harbour. \nMovement\, sports\, art\, music\, culture\, food\, and fun\, all in one place. Come try something new\, meet people\, and feel the energy of a whole year of Bloom coming together in one unforgettable celebration. \nEvent details: \n📅 Date: Friday\, August 21🕟 Time: 4:00–8:00 p.m.📍 Location: The LOT on Harbour \n🎟️ The first 100 people who register for the event AND complete the Bloom Form will be eligible for a $15 food voucher. Registration doesn’t guarantee a voucher. You will be contacted by our team \n \nWander through four Bloom Villages:🧘 Bloom Move: yoga\, dance lessons\, family movement games\, and wellness activations☕ Bloom Connect: conversation cafés\, chess and coffee\, and easy ways to meet someone new🥾 Bloom Explore: hiking groups\, nature walks\, and a giant map where you’ll pin your favourite place in NL🎨 Bloom Culture: live music\, cultural performances\, a community mural\, and a multicultural marketplace \n \nCheck out the details in the agenda at the end \n \nFollow us on @amalyouthandfamilycentre to stay updated! \n \nFree and open to everyone. Registration is required. \n \nWhy we’re celebratingA year ago\, Bloom started with a simple idea: belonging isn’t something you arrive at; it’s something a community builds together\, one small moment at a time. A conversation over coffee. A hike with new people. A word learned in someone else’s language. A year in\, those moments have turned into real friendships\, real confidence\, and a community that keeps showing up for each other. \nThis event is our way of saying thank you to everyone who showed up to a first Bloom activity not knowing a single person\, to the facilitators and volunteers who made it feel easy\, and to the partners who believed in Bloom before it had a year of stories to point to. \nAnd it’s just the beginning of what’s next.
