Moving to a new country brings exciting opportunities, but it also comes with unique challenges that can impact mental well-being.
Amal Unite & Empower, in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association – Newfoundland and Labrador (CMHA-NL), invites you to a virtual session on Coping with Stress for Newcomers.
In this one-hour workshop, we will explore practical strategies to recognize and manage stress while navigating life in a new environment. This session aims to provide a supportive space to discuss mental well-being and learn about resources available to you.
About the Facilitator:
Hossein Khatibzadeh Davani is the Program Coordinator for CMHA–NL’s Steering Success program, which is designed to enhance the mental health and well-being of newcomers while promoting psychologically safe and inclusive workplaces.
