Looking for a welcoming space where your whole family can learn, explore, and connect?
Join us for a guided evening visit to the A.C. Hunter Public Library in St. John’s. This relaxed community outing is designed for individuals and families of all ages who want to feel more confident using one of the city’s most valuable public resources.
During the visit, you’ll:
- Sign up for a free Newfoundland & Labrador Public Library card for yourself and your family
- Learn how to use the NLPL Connect Pass for free admission to participating cultural and recreational sites across the province
- Explore children’s programs, workshops, language-learning supports, digital resources, and borrowing services
- Discover a safe, welcoming space you can return to anytime
The public library offers far more than books. From story time and family-friendly events to study spaces, technology access, and community programs, it’s a place where adults and children alike can grow, learn, and feel connected.
You’ll leave with:
- Library memberships (if needed)
- Practical knowledge of programs and services for all ages
- Access to free cultural experiences through the Connect Pass

👥 Meeting Time: 6:15 PM at the Main Entrance
📍 Location: A.C. Hunter Public Library, 125 Allandale Road, St. John’s, NL
Free parking is available in the library lot. The library is also accessible via Metrobus routes servicing the Allandale Road area.
What to Bring
Comfortable footwear.
Required One-Time Participant Form
To help us continue offering free Bloom wellbeing activities, all participants must complete a short one-time information form before attending. This requirement supports confidential reporting and allows us to keep these activities accessible at no cost.
