In-person training to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources.Join Amal Unite & Empower in Collaboration with CMHANL for a free safeTALK training preparing anyone over the age of 15 to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources.safeTalk participants will learn to:Notice and respond to situations where suicide thoughts may be present.Recognize invitations for help that are often overlooked.Apply the TALK steps : Tell, Ask, Listen, KeepSafe.Connect someone with thoughts of suicide to appropriate community resources for further suicide-safer help.Notes:Please Arrive 15 minutes before the training starts.Parking: Since there are many events in the building, please arrive early to secure a parking spot.Full attendance is required for the entire training to receieve a certificate.If the plan changes, please let us know via email in advance so another person has the opportunity to join.You can email us at [email protected] contact us at +1(709)770-1708⚠️ Important Notice ⚠️Kindly respect the time, resources, and impact of this training by only registering if you’re fully committed to attending the full session.
