Association for New Canadians (ANC)

Full and Part-Time ESL Classes: Open to permanent residents, Provincial Nominees, and eligible individuals.
Evening ESL Conversation Classes: Held every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, open to all newcomers.
Language Assessment Services: As the only certified Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) assessment center in the province, they provide language assessments for eligible clients.

Newcomer Choir

Services: The Newcomer Choir Association – Canada supports newcomer choirs and other music programs across the country that offer English language and community-building opportunities for newcomers.

How to Access: The Newcomer Choir in St. John’s happens every Tuesday evening from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at 7 Ricketts Road.
