Group Hike – Sugarloaf Trail

Explore Sugarloaf Trail for scenic views, wildlife spotting, and a coastal hike, with optional visit to the historic Gut.

🌿 Step into the outdoors with us for an energizing group hike along the beautiful Sugarloaf Path—part of the iconic East Coast Trail network. This guided experience takes you along a rugged coastal route toward Bawdens Highlands, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking 360° views of St. John’s and the Atlantic Ocean.

Along the way, enjoy fresh sea air, scenic lookouts, and the chance to slow down, take photos, and connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Whether you’re here for the views, the movement, or the community, you’ll find something to love on this trail.

Date: Saturday, May 30
Time: 2:00 – 5:00 PM (Meet at 1:45 PM)
Location: Sugarloaf Trail access point – Quidi Vidi Village, Cadet Road/The Boulevard area (Final meeting point will be shared with participants)
Trail Length: Approx. 3 hours including breaks
Difficulty: Moderate, uphill, rocky terrain

For those who are interested, we may also explore “The Gut”—a charming, historic fishing harbour at the base of the trail, full of character and coastal charm.

This isn’t just a hike—it’s an opportunity to:
