Bloom Bachata: Halloween Social

BLOOM Halloween Bachata Party
Dance, dress up, and celebrate with us this Halloween!
Grab your costume (or come as you are) and join BLOOM for a festive evening of music, movement, and community. Whether you’ve been coming to Friday bachata for months or you’ve never tried a single step, this party is for you. We’ll start with a short beginner-friendly lesson, then turn up the music for social dancing, Halloween snacks, and plenty of time to connect.
What You’ll Experience
The evening begins with a short, beginner-friendly bachata lesson led by Natali, where you’ll learn the basic steps in a relaxed and supportive setting. From there, the floor opens up for social dancing so you can practise what you’ve learned, dance with others, or simply enjoy the music. Throughout the night, you can enjoy simple Halloween snacks, mingle with new and familiar faces, and celebrate the season together. Costumes are encouraged but completely optional.
Who It’s For
This party welcomes everyone: regular Friday bachata dancers, curious first-timers, and anyone looking for a fun social evening. It’s open to both long-term residents of Newfoundland and Labrador and people who have come to Canada through immigration. No dance experience is needed, and you don’t need a partner to join.
Event details:
Date: Friday, October 30, 2026
Time: 6:00–8:30 PM
Location: AUE Gym, 7 Ricketts Road, St. John’s, NL
Regular Friday bachata participants: Please note this party replaces the usual class format for this Friday only. Regular classes resume the following week.
What to Know or Bring
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in, or a costume that lets you dance freely. Bringing a water bottle is a good idea. Snacks will be provided.
